I am trying to send money to different people in my family from the internet. I am looking for what Bank will allow for ACH transfers or direct wiring of money to another bank account without having to supply the “two small deposits” or knowing the login information of the payee. I just want to be able to wire money to any bank account/routing number without having to go through a verification process. Does anyone know a bank that makes this process easy?

A friend unexpectedly got a construction bid overseas and the overseas client is ready to pay. Need to open a wire transfer bank account at one of the two banks used by client in U.S. However, both banks and their branches are in other parts of U.S. Is there anyway to do this?

My fiance and I are planning on getting on the same account together. We decided to go through his bank account and he is just going to add me to his account. 6 years ago I apparently had 2 hot checks out that I had written that i didn’t take care of.I’m worried that I wont be able to get added to his account because of my past? There was a levy placed on my current bank account by a bill collecting agency(credit-card debt) and I still owe money. My dilemma is that I was laid off from my job and I cannot afford to pay right now. I want to file my taxes and have the funds go directly to my bank account. If I do open a new bank account and e-file, will the creditor be able to find my new account and place a levy on it? I would also like to know how they find it (bank account), and how long it usually takes.

Due to a job loss I got in a desperate situation and took advantage of my bank’s courtesy overdraft protection..it overdrew the account big-time and I was not able to pay all of it back in time. The bank closed and charged off my account. This bank uses ChexSystems, so how long does it take the bank to report the account?

I recently was tricked into revealing my bank account number to someone. I think they might be up to something. But the fact is the account is empty. And I have nothing that is going to be placed into it at the moment. My question is can anyone do something with a number to an empty account. Should I consider closing the account and opening a new one?

Lets say one bank closes your account due to overdraft that hasn’t been paid and they report you to the credit bureau that regulates banks which means you can’t open another account.

But you still have 10 other bank accounts with other banks…. do they get closed too?

I need to know which bank in Southern California is a good bank for opening a bank account as a 17 year old. I need to be able to open the account by myself and withdraw/deposit by myself, possibly have checking and/or ATM services.
